Short Films:

Modern Houses (USA)

Director: Matthew Dixon
Cast: Lili Taylor
Synopsis: Modern Houses is psychological-thriller about the creative process.
Max Lin had been architecture’s celebrated young star.
Perched on the cutting edge of form and function, her stunning, sculptural designs challenged the conventional limits of buildings as art. A year ago, her career derailed. Under the weight of brilliance, expectation, endless delays, and the eyes of her own face staring back at her from the cover of Architectural Digest, she cracked. But now she’s back. Having locked herself away for the last 72 hours, racing to finish the model of what will be her greatest design, she steps back for the final look. It’s perfect. Beyond the shadow of a doubt…or a whisper.

Windscreens: The Australian Dream (AUSTRALIA)

Director: Abel Robinson
Cast: Alex Dona, Fadi Alameddin, Simon Bosco, Deirdre Campbell
Synopsis: Rodney believes he is living the Australian Dream: cleaning windscreens at his local home-made set of traffic lights. His highly coveted position is challenged by not only the local car wash that wishes to exploit his talents, but by a new and equally talented competitor in the industry. Just wanting to be left alone to enjoy his lifestyle, he must overcome these obstacles no matter how far he must fall before he can do so.
