It is with broken hearts we share news of the passing of veteran actor John Bluthal, aged 89.
John, known and loved by many as Frank from BBC’s Vicar of Dibley, shared his talent and beautiful smile onscreen and in person at the Sydney Indie 2018 for the premiere of By Any Other Name, a musical written, directed and produced by his daughter Lisa. The film won Best Musical Short Film, and endeared audiences with its uplifting and quirky take on Alzheimers.
We will miss John’s energy and humour, and send our love and condolences to his family.
